Bostik Inc. has selected Nelson Schmidt, Inc. as its marketing agency after a competitive review. Nelson Schmidt will provide branding, advertising, public relations, direct mail, research and tradeshow support for Bostik’s Non-woven, Tape & Label and Construction & Industrial divisions. “Nelson Schmidt not only had the strongest experience in channel communications and international trade events,” said Courtney Korselt, Bostik’s communications manager, “but its team also had the best chemistry with ours, which is a critical consideration in selecting a marketing partner.” Work is slated to begin immediately in support of a new technology platform and two new product launches. “As our company moves from a customer-centric to a market-centric business model, it is essential that our marketing programs become more strategically, rather than tactically, driven,” continued Ms. Korselt.“We believe Nelson Schmidt is the right partner to help us achieve that goal.” “We are delighted to add a brand of Bostik’s caliber to our client roster,” said Dan Nelson, Jr., president of Nelson Schmidt.“We look forward to building on the brand’s well-earned reputation for innovation and thought leadership in the adhesives and sealant industries.”
